What is a Competition Kart

A competition kart is a purpose built racing kart for use in local, regional, national and global competition. These karts are far less bulky and heavy than rental karts and thus faster. Extremely customizable to fit various sized drivers and tunable to their driving style.  

Classes begin for 5 year old, beginning in the sport up to Masters class for Adults over 35 years of age. Two and Four Cycle applications for each level of the ladder, levels and popular configurations of each are below.

Kid Kart (Age 5-8) ~2.5hp

Comer C51 – 2 Cycle

Honda GXH50 – 4 Cycle

Cadet (Age 7-12) ~10hp

Rotax Micro and Mini Max – 2 Cycle

Junior (Age 12-15) ~23hp

Rotax Junior Max – 2 Cycle

IAME KA100 Restricted – 2 Cycle

IAME X30 Restricted – 2 Cycle

Senior (Age 15+) ~30hp
